Williams required surgery on his collarbone after the fall from Dubenenko, which also caused two broken ribs.
Star jockey Jamie Kah, who also fell in the race, suffered a severe concussion and was heavily sedated for a significant period of time to allow her brain to recover.
She’s currently completing rehab.
While an exact date for Williams’ return hasn’t been confirmed, the 45-year-old posted two videos to social media on Wednesday showing he is deep into his recovery.
The first, on a mechanical horse, showed him riding hands and heels. The second showed him continuing his recovery in the pool.
