Today I’m riding at Mornington. The rail is out 5 metres and the track is rated in the soft range.
Race 8 is the BM64 Neds Filter Form Hcp over 1200 metres. My ride here is DREAM QUEEN (NZ) who is trained by Ben & JD Hayes. This three-year-old filly by Super Easy has had four starts for a record of two wins and two second placings, with all of her racing being done in New Zealand. She has raced on track conditions ranging from good to heavy and has raced over distances from 1000 to 1200 metres. I rode her in a recent jumpout at Flemington in preparation for her Australian debut and liked the feel she gave me. She looks well placed here and if she runs up to her New Zealand form and Flemington jumpout, she will be the horse to beat.
