Gallant mare Kimochi scored the biggest win of her career when taking out the $1 million Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on Saturday.
Kimochi is another of high-quality mares racing in the green with white checked sleeves and white cap of Yulong Investments after they purchased her for $2.2 million at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale in May this year.
Kimochi came from worse than midfield and stormed homer out in the centre of the track, nailing Another Wil late with Steparty rounding out the placings in third.
